Kanon (9) and Rush (6) currently share a room in our home, and as they are getting older, we wanted to refresh their space in a way that fits their current likes as well as be able to grow with them. Here’s a glimpse at the boy’s room reveal!
Boys Room Reveal
To start, we worked with Collected Lubbock, an interior design company that helps with both renovations and new home construction services. They actually helped source much of the decor in the room as well! During the renovation, we did try to keep some of the things that we already had or affordable sourced products since boys are so rough. For example, we already had a bed and a tall chest of drawers.
Ricky painted the walls with Sherwin Williams Uncertain Gray. Because of how Collected Lubbock designed it, we only had to paint halfway up the wall and I absolutely love the look of it!
For their beds, we already had the treehouse-style twin bunk bed. Both beds have Beddy’s bedding on them. I love the ease of their products and how clean they look, which is important in a boy’s room. You can use my code MAGEN to save on their bedding bundles!
We store all of their toys in our office/craft room/basement. It just keeps their living space so much tidier this way.
For decor, both boys are obsessed with all things sports. We added little details like sports memorabilia books and a baseball ring box within the wooden bookcase.
I love the way all the neutrals blend together in this room! For some extra flair, we added a lamp and some greenery. I also added little details to their shared bathroom to keep the neutral vibe!
