Shoes should be a love language.

Here’s something you need to know about me if you haven’t already heard.
I.LOVE.SHOES.
My husband knows this about me. He has fully accepted this about me. Their just something I feel like I can get creative with, they can make or break a whole outfit, they can turn one outfit into a whole other by just switching out the shoe. Their just something worldly I like to enjoy. & I like them even more when I can get them on SALE! I have some favorite brands that are my go-to & I’ll share those with you too!
I don’t do flowers. I do shoes.
For the holidays Ricky knows I would much rather him spend money on something I can wear for years & enjoy then flowers I will kill the next day. Now, I am not judging all you flower lovers… it’s just NOT my thing. & I am thankful I have a husband that gets that & accepts it. I will say the only flower I do enjoy is a good “ice cube orchid” You know the one you put a few ice cubes in every week to keep it alive. Now that’s my kind of plant. OR the trending and infamous succulents. I mean my house is FULL of them right now. I could write a whole blog on my succulents around the house right now… maybe I will! I mean you only have to water them WEEKLY, they don’t require x amount of hours per sun… etc. That’s my kind of plant.
So back to shoes…
Loafers.
Their my thing right now. As a Mom of 4 & a Entrepreneur I am constantly on the go & usually carrying 1-2 kids en route. So as cute as wedges are they just aren’t practical for my everyday. I have loved that a good loafer is something I can slip on, dress up a basic outfit with & hit the door running… with or without kids! I love how they look great with a cute pair of shorts but are going to transition into fall amazingly with a good pair of skinny jeans. These are actually the first Free People shoes I have ever bought. I can’t say too much but so far, I love them! I did have to size up on them. Which I wasn’t expecting because I have to size down on all of their clothing.
Now… Dolce Vita is one of my absolute favorite brands. In fact theres a 50/50 chance whatever shoe I am wearing is from them.
