Loving Leather

Leather is just one of those pieces that will never go out of style. You know it will always be acceptable to throw a leather jacket over anything. It’s one of those pieces that functions AMAZINGLY as a transitional piece. I love taking many of my summer dresses and jumpsuits and throwing a leather jacket over them to easily get some use out of them in the colder months. You know a leather jacket, some boyfriend jeans and a good graphic tee will always be in style. So, there’s always a place for some leather.

When I saw this leather skirt I LOVED it! It has the same function as the leather jacket. I feel like its a piece I will be able to transition from season to season. As the weather is getting cooler I plan on throwing on some sleek black tights, a cute bootie and front tucking a big chunky sweater with it! Then as spring and summer come back around how cute would this be with your favorite graphic tee and some converse. I mean there are so many possibilities. My favorite purchases to make are those that are versatile.

I loved this skirt so much I even got it in the white too! And y’all the price point…. MAKES IT THAT MUCH BETTER! These skirts have a high end quality with the most affordable price. You’ll be seeing them a lot on the blog for quite a while!

For this look I wanted something that was just easy but cute. A look that you could roll with for a day of running errands, brunch with the girls or even a casual date night.

I took the leather skirt, my favorite layering top, a cute long button up, some dainty jewelry, a crossbody and my favorite studded mules and just threw it all together. The only thing I would/could have added is a big ol’ hat to complete the look!

So, as the seasons change I recommend adding things to your closet that can function in many ways! I can’t wait to see how you style this! I have linked the whole look for you below!
