If you’ve been around here for a minute or two then you should know by now SHOES ARE MY LOVE LANGUAGE. Ask Ricky, he knows not to buy me flowers. Shoes are the way to my heart. Before you feel sorry for him, he knows this about me, he’s cool with it. AND I may or may not send him a picture collage with all the ones I love, where to buy it, plus my size. He loves me y’all.
They’re just my “thing”
I don’t mind splurging on them because I truly keep them for years, but I also LOVE a great SHOE SALE!
I’ve noticed this season my Sneaker & Boot collection has grown. These two styles are for sure my most worn. As a Mom of four young babies I don’t have much time or honestly many occasions that call for a heel. Ok, being honest… I just looked, I officially don’t even own a pair of heels. All my “dressier” shoes are a wedge or a thick heel or some sort. Basically, if I can’t chase a kid in it… I ain’t wearing it. Period.
I wanted to share some of my favorite go to shoes right now! A few splurge pieces, but majority are affordable.
When I buy shoes I look for quality, how long will this pair last me if I plan on wearing them a lot? And is this something I can wear multiple ways for multiple years? If it’s a splurge shoe both of those questions are very important for me. If it’s on the cheaper side I don’t worry too much because I will most likely wear it a few times and either pass it on to Preslee (while we are still the same size) or re-sale it.
