The kids wanted to decorate cookies, so we headed to Walmart to get all the holiday goods! It’s a fun part of the holidays to do it as a family. We found red and green everything…icing, sprinkles, M&Ms, and chocolate chips, everything you could want! They had lots of blue, silver and white options too for snowmen or snowflakes. Plus we found the cutest candy cane, Christmas sweater and wreath cookie cutters. My first batch of chocolate chip cookies did not quite turn out like I wanted, but Rush loved them all the same! Look at his sweet face and how proud he is! I did share a friend’s favorite snickerdoodle cookie recipe below, you’ll have to try them out! I think they are the perfect holiday cookie.
I also saw fun cookie kits, Micky Mouse and Ugly Sweater, and a Gingerbread Town Kit! They would make a cute family gift, throw in a holiday apron!
These cookies would be a great gift in a holiday cookie tin, or to have out on these adorable polka dot plates when guest come over!
